## Challenge

A public car park under a commercial district needed more spaces in a fixed basement and short waiting times at peak hours.

## Solution

A plane moving system uses a carrier on every level that runs along a central aisle, with lifts connecting the levels. Several carriers work in parallel, so retrievals overlap rather than queue. Cars are stored on both sides of the aisle with no driving lanes inside the storage area.
